First of all, congrats to Cassidy and Cliff.. Their wedding on Saturday is one to be remembered.. The wedding took place out in Palestine Tx. It was an outdoor wedding, with details that made me smile.. We had a small issue though, it was raining.. As we know (well, if you live in Texas) the weather tends to change almost instantly.. the forecast had it at 10% chance of rain all day.. but as soon as Clare and I got there the rain started.. But with a lil love from above the wedding party and the guests only had to sit through the ceremony with a light sprinkle.. it made for some amazing shots though. Their wedding was perfect, and everyone had an amazing time.. I want to give just a quick glimpse into the day..
I can't wait to show you the rest, but first I need to submit this wedding to a couple of magazines..

Ok, I know you peeps have been wanting to see what we came up with. Kalyn and the team tore it up. It's was such a great time with everyone!! I can't say enough about this shoot that happened on Monday. Everyone was spot on and I think you'll see that in this shots.. For more on the peeps that rock'd out the shoot, go here!!
Now some of you may not know, but Kalyn is on this seasons "Project Runway" and she's tearing it up.. Make sure you check it out on Thursday Nights..

Yesterday was an incredible day of shooting.. I'm really loving these Fashion shoots.. The people you get to work with is amazing.. I'm used to being the one in control of my shoots with weddings and creative portraits, but in the world of fashion it takes a team to pull the whole shoot together.. Yesterdays team of creatives was Misti from mististyle.com, an incredible stylist here in Houston and Dallas. Jen Marine from jenmarine.com, a make-up artist that rocks this world... Kalyn Hemphill, a rock'n model that's on this year's Project Runway and a all around amazing person, your going to see this girl in the big lights soon. Seth A. Fox (a new male model) this guy cracks me up.. He's got a great future ahead of him. Molly Nolan (Seth's rep) She's getting ready to take the industry by storm.
We started out first down in Kemha and got some incredible shots outside around the gaming area, and let me just say.. the sweat was dripping from everyone, but we had a great time working it ;) We then moved on to the freak'n awesome Bayview Duck Pub that's located off of highway 146. This place rocks!! It's an English pub run by Alex and Charis. it's got so much character and depth.. and the the beer mixes are out of this world, along with the famous "Scottish Egg". you just have to try it!! The shots we got her are deep, dark and all around amazing..
Well with all that being said, we got some rock'n images from yesterday.. I just sorted through them and I'm smiling.. I love fashion photography, the work, the concepts, the final images!! but as I look through the work, I realize that I've been doing the similar things with my rock'n clients.. Last week, one of Houston's amazing wedding planners, Haley with envougue events, asked me what my mission statement was.. I've never really thought about "my mission statement" as in writing it down and telling people.. but out of my mouth came the word "different" simply put!! that's my mission statement.. one simple word... different! and I love it. You can look at my work and see that's its different.. And I love it that way!!! I want to always be pushing the limits and working to create new things, new looks and really be different!! That's my goal.. I love that I don't have a job, but a passion!!
