Hey hey..just wanted to show you a couple of things that I got for the Christmas week thats coming up.. I frequent Catalina Coffee and Max and Sean over there showed me a grinder that is rock'n my world.. It's called a Hario Hand Mill. you see I love coffee, so much so, that I love the art of it. So when I got my hands on the grinder I had to get it. Now what's fun about the ginder is that it's a manual grinder, so I get to actually grind the beans. Now this takes a bit longer but it's totally worth it :) I also picked up a Frieling French Press. The beans are what really makes the coffee and Catalina coffee has some of the best beans around. Now the owner of Catalina roasts his own beans, and they are amazing.. Sean is also a roaster. He owns Fusion beans and I must say again, they are amazing. So the three tools together are an amazing team. Which by the way makes one incredible cup of coffee ;)

Here's some pics..

Now the other fun gadget I got is the Holga 120N camera.. This is a medium format film camera that I'm extremely excited about.. I can't wait to see the crazyness that comes from this cheap ($35.00) camera.. I will be posting what I come up with after the new year :)

so I will be enjoying my family and my new gadgets next week while I'm up in Golden Tx.. I can't wait..

I have some more fun news, but I think I'll wait to share it ;)

Have a great Friday!!

Over Thanksgiving I got the chance to go hang in Marfa Tx.. You either know about this place or you don't.. If you don't you need to get learned ;) Anyways, my good friends Josh and Brooke (along with their lil Stella) invited me to go spend Thanksgiving with them in Marfa.. and of course I said yes. Emily and Gaving were up in Wisconsin, so me and Jack headed out to Marfa. I left Houston at 9pm and arrived in Marfa the next morning at 6am.. Yeah, it was a long drive, but no worries I was twitt'n the whole way ;) It was one of the most relaxing times I've had in a while and getting the chance to hang with good friends over thanksgiving was awesome.. I'll post the thanksgiving dinner later but first, here's some random pics from the trip.. Did I say I love Marfa??

More to come soon...

For the longest time I've been wanting to get my hands on some letterpress cards. When you hand somebody a card like that, I believe it say so many things. Anyways my good friend Chris Figat with www.figdigital.com came up with an incredible design for these cards, and we went all out ;) Chris also designed my logo and came up with my color concept at the beginning of my business launch a lil over a year and a half ago.. I really love what he designed! if you looking to update your look or just need a look give him a shout, you won't be disappointed! We went through Studio on Fire for the letterpress printing and they rock'd these cards out. This goes out to all the card lovers out there and you know who you are ;)

Here's the look!

You can contact Chris at chris@figdigital.com for more info..

Lots more entries to come, I'm a lil behind ;)

Clint,
I am Auntie to Fran, as in Fran and Dahnya and may I say what an artist you are, gorgeous photos! I am looking to order cards that I can use for all occasions to send to employees and families where I work - of course, unique ones is the only way to go. I am looking for photo cards to express sympathy, congratulations on a new baby, congratulations on your wedding, and thank you. What do you have - am I just not looking in the right place? Thank you, Teresa Wells
