Hey everyone..

I just wanted to fill you in on some amazing things that are getting ready to hit Houston (Well I do travel so I guess this is going to effect the whole world ;) I've been working on a project with a couple of people that will take effect soon. Also, we've pretty much locked down a absolutely stunning studio space... I've been blow'n away by the Grace of God these past couple of days.. I can't wait to see what happens in 2010 and beyond. I've always been one to dream big, and this is just confirmation that dreaming and chasing after your dreams really does work... By all means I haven't arrived, nor am I even close. I still have a ton to learn about LIFE, about my profession and about business. But that's what's so awesome, we have the opportunity to learn everyday and grab our dreams... I'm reading a book right now called "The Dip" by Seth Godin, it's a fantastic short book about the learning to say no too or quit the wrong things that aren't helping you get to where you need to be.. "A woodpecker can tap twenty times on a thousand trees and get nowhere, but stay busy. Or he can tap twenty thousand times on one tree and get dinner." you see, real success goes to those who obsess!! (Seth Godin) That statement is life-changing... Anyways I won't bore you anymore with my thoughts, but I just want to say In order to change the world (your world) you have to dream, then you have to chase after your dream... I'll leave you with a view of Houston through the Studios windows...

also, here's a quicky of the next blog coming up.. Meet Leah and James, they rock!!

This month has been crazy.. I just got the Weddings in Houston magazine and saw that they not only published one of my weddings, I'm also in an article about wedding photography.. :) Vi and Mike are one of my favorite couples, so I'm really excited to see their wedding published. I'm completely honored and a little overwhelmed to have been published in 2 different magazines this month. It's always exciting to see your work in print! So I wanted to give a shout out to Weddings in Houston magazine! It really is a great resource for couples out their that are in their journey of putting together a wedding.. Here's a couple of pics of the wedding spread of Vi and Mike along with the article I'm in along with good friend and fellow photographers Adam Nyholt and Christine Tremoulet.

I'll be heading out of town for the week of Christmas.... soooo I wish you all a Very Merry Christmas..

Hey hey..just wanted to show you a couple of things that I got for the Christmas week thats coming up.. I frequent Catalina Coffee and Max and Sean over there showed me a grinder that is rock'n my world.. It's called a Hario Hand Mill. you see I love coffee, so much so, that I love the art of it. So when I got my hands on the grinder I had to get it. Now what's fun about the ginder is that it's a manual grinder, so I get to actually grind the beans. Now this takes a bit longer but it's totally worth it :) I also picked up a Frieling French Press. The beans are what really makes the coffee and Catalina coffee has some of the best beans around. Now the owner of Catalina roasts his own beans, and they are amazing.. Sean is also a roaster. He owns Fusion beans and I must say again, they are amazing. So the three tools together are an amazing team. Which by the way makes one incredible cup of coffee ;)

Here's some pics..

Now the other fun gadget I got is the Holga 120N camera.. This is a medium format film camera that I'm extremely excited about.. I can't wait to see the crazyness that comes from this cheap ($35.00) camera.. I will be posting what I come up with after the new year :)

_CSP1115-Edit1-1.jpg
so I will be enjoying my family and my new gadgets next week while I'm up in Golden Tx.. I can't wait..

I have some more fun news, but I think I'll wait to share it ;)

Have a great Friday!!
